Do you like this two tone wall concept?
Im a big fan. The look you might see most often with two tone walls is the chair rail line. I do like the look of the chair rail line, but a good change up of this style is not using an existing chair rail as your line. Instead try choosing a horizontal or vertical plane that is to your preference.
Though this photo is using bubblegum pink wall paint, you dont have to use such a loud color. Maybe a softer pastel paint color would be a better option to start with or you could be bold and pick a neon paint color.
A much softer paint option to consider in your home with two tone paint.
What about this vertical white and bright yellow painted wall? A more modern look but also very daring.
I personally love the look because it gives the space a sense of openness while also injecting some color and contrast. This look is best achieved by using a lighter color on top and darker color on bottom. Lastly, to achieve this look go to eHow for instructions here.
